September 3 - Seventy jaunty Juniors entered F.C.T.S. with a will and determination βto become Seniors next year, ' Notably missing was Mary Willie Johnson, who left to live in Washington, D.C.. September 23 = Our class was organized and officers were e- lected, We were off to a fine start. October 29 = Spooks} Witches! Goblins! Ghosts} You guessed iti! The Junior Hallowe'en Party. A great time was had by all. Novenber 24 - Let's Bring New Glory +-β Our class won first prize in the Big Broadcast . December 4 β- The class social at Zelma Anderson's. Ohi what a time we hadj December 18 = Christmas vacation began. Need I say more? January 4β We returned from vacations with exams on owe minds. January 18 Exams over, we could breathe easily again. April 12 = Edward Arrendell,our president, starred in Elmer and the Lovebug April 15 Junior-Senior Banquet date, but, Uncle Sam decid- ed that rationing and banquets do not mix. April 27 - Junior-Senior Picnic. I regret to say that no Jun- iors or Seniors were lost. April 30 - School closed, Though only a few of the seventy who started will become Seniors, none of us will forget our Junior year at F.C.1T.S. Cleora Grissom
