.US The Refreshment Committee planned, prepared, and served refreshments at the close of the Prom. THE THEME of the Junior-Senior Prom 1959 was ShoWboat . The dec- orations Were in the form of the back yard of a fashionable mansion on the Mississippi River. The Cotton Blos- som, a showboat, was on the river be- hind the house. The pale blue sky was starryg and the mood, musical. This was the beginning of a lovely evening and pleasant memories. Prom-goers dance amid stors and the Rusty Nichols and his orchestra provided dreamy music for the enjoyment of dancing couples.
