Honorary degrees at Com- mencement were bestowed by President Haines upon: Dr. Samuel R. Sutphin, Governor Henry F. Schricker. Dr. Hol- man Hamilton, and Dr. Ray L. Heffner. commencement Ninety seniors were presented long-awaited diplomas on June 5, 1966. Friends and rela- tives heard Dr. Holman Hamilton give the commencement address, and Dr. Mary S. Owen was the speaker for the 1966 Bacca- laureate. Seniors and proud parents find relief from the everpresent Graduation Day sun. George Hoge receives his proof of four years of academic toil from President Haines and Dean Park. 26
