The winning float staled; The Ravens Can ' t Bear It they couldn ' t! Ingenuity was demonstrated by the Delta Zetas and Phi Delts in their Bye Bye Birdie realization. Instead of the Red Baron, Snoopy searches for Ravens on the Zeta Tau Alpha-Kappa Delta Rho float. 17

As Alumni President, Mr. George Rinker has die pleasure of crowning Nancy Gerber Homecoming Queen. Homecoming royalty are Susie Stum, Zeta Tau Alpha, and Jay Mosberg; Kathy Menges, Unaffiliated Women, and Paul Hermann; Kathy York, Pi Beta Phi, and Jerry Yentes; Pat Kershaw. Independent Women, and Bob Morris; Sue Wohl- muth, Delta Zeta, and Bill Dennis; and Queen Nancy Gerber, Delta Delta Delta, with Jim Martin. homecoming The Pi Beta Phi-Sigma Alpha Epsilon utilization of the Sesc]uicentennial celebration catches the interest of the towns- people of Franklin. Students worked into the wee-morning hours to make this year ' s Homecoming successful. Floats were better than ever, and townspeople applauded the parade when it passed through the streets. Junior Nancy Gerber, Homecoming Queen, added a pretty touch to the festivities, and fans were exuberant as the Grizzlies won the game over Anderson. 16

Students were entertained by popu- lar groups such as the Kingsmen and the Four Seasons . Franklin was proud of its theater department as it presented 4 plays. Welded flying machines are among some of the entries at a modern ' art exhibit held in Stout Hall. Two Foreign newsmen, Ba- ba Musa Tarawally, editor of The New Gambia, and B e s h i Mohammed Said, managing director of the Al Ayam Press are discussing their field with students Mike Lo eall and Alan Doyle. 18
