Buck row - Kristine Dohrmann, Laurie Dearinger, Edward Collins, Rudolf Hammer, Iodie Schmidt, Rosemary Fahr, Thomas McBride, MISS BONNER GRADE 5 Timothy Lighter, Karen Kirner, Michael Broyles, Keam O'Hearn Front row - Marcia Pine, Thomas Elam, Therese Edstrom, Denis Patterson, Deborah Zimmerman These fifth graders were priviliged in being able to perform a Nativity Play entitled The Christmas Story for the enjoyment of St. Iohannis Stift Orphanage, Oberursel. This play was written in English by the students and then translated into German. The audience and cast derived great enjoyment from the performance. According to one of these students, he received quite a charge from his discovery and another was shocked by what she discovered. The last group is involved in an active debate on capital punish- ment. The first group has been listening to an explanation and doing individual practice on the board. The second group has grasped the concept and is working along on its own. The last group is checking to see how well they understood. They are using colored pencils to check their answers against the key answer sheet.
