Working together, they built the seven hills and then houses, temples, roads, the Tiber River and an aqueduct to carry water to Rome. These students now agree with those who say, Rome wasn't built in a day. It was an enjoyable way to conclude their unit on the Roman Empire. The first step was to study the wall map and its key as the students in the first picture are doing. Next, using their atlases, they made colored relief maps of their own.
