The Constitution was almost completely renovated to increase efficiency and eliminate legal hassels. The Senior Council was also instrumental in suggesting the student-faculty games at the beginning of the year. F.I.S. will not soon forget the succession of successful, well attended and very unusual dances. Hopefully, the Oberursel Pop Festival can become a tradition. Congratulations are in order for a few unsung heroes, Hmmm-mmmm . . . Bonnie Linn and Mr. Hess, in their efforts at selling sweatshirts which, as far as profits are concerned, was the Senior Student Council's most successful venture. With the present bank account and a few inspired individuals, next year's Senior Student Council can be twice as successful. Buck row fleft to lightj: Mr. Weed, advisor, Dan Maguire, President, Don Sussman, Vice President, Bill Steinert, Treasurer, Hal Poel from row, JUNIOR HIGH STUDENT COUNCIL David Irish, Robin Snyder, Alex Steiman, Holly Gombert Missing: Monica Lange, Secretary, Cathy Handley The Iunior High Student Council of the 1967-68 academic year concentrated most of its efforts on drawing up a Constitution. The addition of officers and a definite organization helped lend a seriousness to our purpose. Students other than council members were extended an open invitation to attend meetings and to vote on the Constitution. Other activities of the council this year included the planning of several bake sales and dances. Council members attempted to plan its activities to provide a model for the Junior High Student Councils in the years to come.
