J.V. SOCCER Here we sec the undefeated, 1970 Blue Division Junior Varsity Champions. Most of these boys had never played soccer before, and perhaps many of them never will again. At the beginning of the season, they didn ' t know an Ausputzer from a center-half, they didn ' t know what offsides means, and they couldn ' t make a correct throw-in. But they learned and improved, they found their left feet, they discovered what it is to play as a team, and they discovered something of sportsmanship. Although a few will be here to play varsity next year, several are leaving. We won the boys doubles for the fifth straight year.
