Zcw6eZ5czZZ 'faaznawzenl Sports fans flocked to the mecca of basketball at Blozis Hall Saturday for the Tournament. Battling for the Class A Championship title were participants from as far away as England and France. The most prominent Challengers to the Frankfurt Eagles were the Nuremburg Eagles, and eagle feathers flew before the victorious Frankfurt took the title. The walls shook with the roars of the student body, a resounding recognition for the teams as they pounded onto the playing court. The whistle sounded, the ball was tossed into play and the battle for the title began. The ball flashed from one end of the court to the other as first one team then the other caused the basket to vibrate with ringers. The elimination round ended with Frankfurt and Nuremburg scheduled to face each other the following night. That encounter left Frankfurt the USAREUR champion for the third consecutive year, defeating Nuremburg by a score of 75 to 67. 173
