If one Daisy Mae and Li'l Abner are good than two are better figured F.H.S.ers and so they chose Li'l Abner Stan McKey, Daisy Mae Sue Graham and Linda Topp, and Li'l Abner Bob Meyer. Getcha cut-rate divorces right here I says judge Bill Sandalls Qrightj As he signs the paper that will give Bob Lockyer his freedom from a previous marriage to Ann Mayers. Wedding bells ring for Jaci Wallander and BobCrandall Cbottom, lefty as they follow the Li'l Abner- Daisy Mae tradition. Wholesale mirages are bought at the marriage booth fbottom, rightj by girls able to outwit their unsuspecting male companions. Later that evening the husbands gained revenge by bidding wildly for such items as an eye-lash curler and a bottle of Aqua-Velva -- all with their wives money! K 3, it tw , isa I .rw-f ,Q of L ii! 'Me emdaae Sewage Is Mrs. Savage really crazy? No,she isn't, but her whole family and, as the play progresses, the whole audience seriously doubt their own senses after witnessing her actions. They finally sent her to a sanatorium after she had sold a tombstone to a man for his gorse, chartered a ship to send orphans around the world for a holiday, given up electricity for Lent, and sold all her possessions, chang- ing the money into negotiable bonds and hiding these first beneath Jonquils growing in a hot house, then in the mouth of a whale in the Natural History Museum, and finally in ateddy bear which she resolutely carries to the sanatorium with her and steadfastly refuses to part with. Here she meets a number of inter- esting individuals -- Fairy May, who, trying to make life interesting for Mrs. Savage, races in and jumps into a chair shouting, A mouse, a mouse! Qtopi. Titan, greedy son of Mrs. Savage, roughly shakes the hapless Jeffrey, who, he mistakenly believes, has hidden the bonds, in an effort to make Jeffrey reveal their whereabouts while Nurse Wilhelmina valiantly tries to prevent him Qleftj. Play for us Hannibal, says Mrs. Savage as she relaxes with the blue teddy bear. Fairy May, for once, sits quietly by Qbottomj.
