Because of your interest in us, we respect you as a friend and teacher and admire you as a man. Thus, to you Mr. Pitcher, teacher and friend, we dedicate this 1967 edition of the Maroon Log. May it remind you of our class, the Class of '67, and of the good things we have done and those that we have tried to do. Mr. Clifford, an amateur photographer took many of the pictures used in our yearbook. Our athletics, faculty, and candid pictures were taken by him. Without his unselfish expenditure of time, production of the 'iLog would not have been possible. Thus, we thank you, Mr., Clifford, for your time, energy, and most of all, your patience. Grippe, K Schuster Faculty and Administration As one glances at the stature of the oak, he sees a representation of majestic wisdom. Standing tall, the oak never falters and maintains prestige, as well as authority, among the smaller trees. Our faculty at F,S,C,S, possess these same characteristics. Withwisdom and experience, our teachers have led us so that we might attain goals, which would have remained unattain- able without their guidance. We seniors thank the members of the faculty of F,S,C.S, for their effort and for the knowledge which they have helped us gain. Just as the oak stands superior in the forest, the faculty of F,S,C.S, remains superior, as molders of our character and fine examples to us as future citizens. ff, 5,6 JF , K x. -.I 1 II lf... -Q I.-xg ' ,.. -- I . ., I, 'Auf . In order to reach this stage, the rose has been nourished, protected, and trimmed, so that the rose's beauty might reach its highest degree, So it is with the Seniors. The years spent at Frankfort-Schuyler have nourished our -minds with knowl- edge, have protected us while we gradually explored the world around us, and have pruned the useless antics from our lives. Now, like the rose in bloom, we are eager to face the world before us, hoping that this knowledge and experience gained at F,S,C.S, will lead us to our greater goals. 1.-- 1 , X f , .1 ! f f J, Y Jr ,IJ I af 9' . i 1 , Senior Class fficers PRESIDENT I AMES BON O National Honor Society 1-4, Mixed Choir 2-4g Boys' State, Latin Club 1- 3g French Club 3-4g Class vice-presi- dent 2, Delegate to Cit. Activities f in Nature's babbling brook characterizes the sgarkle of extra-curricular activities in our high school. It indicates the undercurrent of vivacious spirit present in these groups, a spirit which will develop the members of today into the leaders of tomorrow. We are the pebbles which the stream carries. MOM Athletics Standing tall above the surrounding terrain, a granite cliff is symbolic of an athlete, readying himself for an important game. The following section of our yearbook contains stories, pictures, and names of every student who has participated in athletics during the year. As athletes, these students have suffered through tedious practices and have endured other sacrificesg but, as the granite cliff has shown strength against the adverse effects of weathering, these athletes of F,S,C,S, have shown this same strength and endurance through good sportsmanship, both in victory and in defeat! .4 -if-f ,v,xv ' 21' lf.. , 'X :jf M ,f 1 f' b 4 ,L,i.:,,Y,, I , A fy 1..f,A,t,, A ,fy .L . 51 Q I ,, N-- fi. x, , ff 44 f 5:54557 if .
