4.71119 Personal Diary Class of 1955 Frankfort-Schuyler Central School Dear Diary, , Tonight, the class, having nothing else to do, decided to reminisce through our high school years. In this -year of 1955, under the guidance of Mrs. Reina and Mrs. Graves and the authority of our president,J oe Nicolette, we began financing our yearbook. The usual Xmas cards, stationery and sweatshirts were sold to raise money for our class. The senior play, OUR MISS BROOKS, brought us money and memories. What memories! The Student Council, with senior officers and representatives, guided the underclassmen. The senior dance, the first dance of the year, was the pattern for other class dances. The All- State Choir had a majority attendance of seniors. The football season ended with Frankfort as Mid-State Champs. This was due to the ten seniors on the first string and the senior cheerleaders. The players celebrated with a Football Victory Party. The boys won't forget that party for quite a while. The girls did their share of ce1ebrating-- a pajama party at Shirley Paratore's home. Oh, these pleasant senior memories. The jlmior year ended successfully under the leadership of President .T ohn Gorea, and, of course, our advisers, Miss lngro and Miss Frank. During the year we ordered our class rings. The Junior Jump was a success as was the Senior-Junior Prom. And now, our minds go back twoyears--September of the year 1952 and our sophomore year. .Terry Crirnmins and Nick Coniguliaro joined the class. With our advisers Mrs. Castronovo and Mr. Chuff and President Mike Ladd we sponsored a traditional Soph Dance. Deanna Snow held a birthday party, and the year was closed with a sophomore picnic, remember ? In our freshman year we recall the Frosh Hop, Frank Favat, our president, and advisers Miss Braidwood and Mrs. Reina. We musm't forget Bob Daley and Rosella Valent's famous par- ties. Thus, we remember our freshman year. And so it goes--reminiscing that we could add no end to the activities and memories sur- I rounding each one of us-The Class of '55, These were the Best Years of Our Lives and now the doors are closing, but we can see new ones opening. . 20
