Keeping their cars waxed to a mirror shine exhibited the pride of some individuals. Vocational students took pride in their skills while academic students took pride in their grade point averages. Many displayed this trait by achieving awards or goals in per- sonal recreation or by just being the best friend they could be. Pride was exhibited in the appearance of Frankfort students as they walked around with their chins tipped slightly higher than the average person's. A happy group of Frankfort band members are proud of their vic- tory in the Martinsburg competition. Greg Long, Darrin Wolford, and John Smith have pride in the fire department. eae

The 3:20 bell sends an elated group of students to their lockers. Trying to remember what homework to do, we hurriedly search for books, and with a final slam of locker doors, we put the school day behind us. With pride in our achievements, some of us scurried off to after-school practices, trudging down the field or hustling around the court for several hours. Others raced home to fill their time with chores, work, dance, sports , hobbies, or study. On rare occasions we found time to watch the tube or just plain relax. It was our time, and no matter what we did, we enjoyed it! We Are Family. The gang gathers at the milk table for a group shot. Dave Shriver and Wade Peer wonder what they've invented in Senior Home-Ec. : Students in Mrs. Carder’s English class show their participation.
