“| beg your Chardon?” Everyone wants to show off their designer jeans. Scott Turley, Brian Lechliter, and David Rector have ‘The Look.” The styles of earlier decades are being seen again in the 1980's. LOOKING GOOD ... Taking pride in our appearance, a neater, dressier look marked the students at Frankfort this year. The ‘‘preppie’’ look called for a return to classic fashions: blazers and wool-plaid skirts; sweaters and button-down collared shirts; knee socks and flat-soled shoes. For students who would rather ‘‘save an alligator by killing a preppie,’’ fashionable meant designer labeled jeans and Nike shoes. Others searched the pages of ‘‘Gentleman’s Quarterly” and “Seventeen” seeking the unusual. Knickers, baggies, and narrow ties decorated these innovative students. Ralph Campbell and Vonda Shipley feel comfortable in blue jeans and V-necks. 11
