Football Mentors Reflect The 1977 football season could not be considered a completely successful season. In order to be completely successful, a team must play with emotion and pride. | feel that midway through the season, we lost both of these factors. This Is in no way a reflection on the football players, but on me because of my failure to inspire and maintain these qualities. The 1977 football season was filled with both exciting and cisappointing events. One of the goals of high school football is ®2 prepare the student-athlete for adult life where everything does not go his way, and | hope we have been successful in accomplishing this. The past two seasons have seen the Falcons with a 15-5 record which is one of the best two year records in the area. | feel the future Falcon teams can and will be just as successful with hard work on their part along with student body 2nd community support.
