Girls’ Athletic Association Reet The Girls’ Athletic Association is made up of the female participants in the athletic programs at Frankfort. Their main purpose is to raise money to help the girls buy extra equipment they need. Mrs. Brakeall is the advisor. Frankfort Express Staff The Frankfort Express Staff, advised by Rita Hollen, put out a monthly newspaper edition. It gave first hand information on behind the scenes happenings at FHS. This a journalism elective, and students also learn how to do layouts and write headlines and advertising procedures. 143

200 «4 VARSITY CLUB The Varsity Club members are those students who participate in all varsity sports. Its main purpose is to determine requirements for lettering. Coach Fazzalore is the advisor and Connie Felton is the student council representative. COIN CLUB The Coin Club exchanges and inspects coins not only for a hobby but for profit. They have attended a Coin Convention in Cumberland, and long range plans include a trip to Washington, D.C., to see how money is printed: Dr. Coffman is the advisor. 145
