Girls’ Athletic Association Reet The Girls’ Athletic Association is made up of the female participants in the athletic programs at Frankfort. Their main purpose is to raise money to help the girls buy extra equipment they need. Mrs. Brakeall is the advisor. Frankfort Express Staff The Frankfort Express Staff, advised by Rita Hollen, put out a monthly newspaper edition. It gave first hand information on behind the scenes happenings at FHS. This a journalism elective, and students also learn how to do layouts and write headlines and advertising procedures. 143

- 1978 Talon Staff Plagued with inexperience, we found that putting together a yearbook was more than we had anticipated. But once we put our minds to work, we were able to learn the fundamentals. Then we were faced with fast approaching deadlines that required hours of diligent work. Being seniors, we found time to set aside the work and worry to enjoy our last year. Working together every day made us a family we call the TALON STAFF. 142
