1976-77 Falcon Honor and Color Guards Our silk and gun squad members (opposite — top) were Norma Simmons, sophomore; Jennifer Goller, sophomore; Kim Engstrom, sophomore; Terri Ross, sophomore; Lisa Bartles, senior; Dana Feaster, junior; Patti DeVore, sophomore; Vicky Watts, senior; Lisa McCullough, sophomore; Tammy Elder, junior; and Pam Shipley, junior. The two senior members (above) Lisa Bartles and Vicky Watts, also served as co-captains. The girls that carried our colors were (opposite) Kim Loy, sophomore; Melissa Tipton, freshman; Debbie Summers, sophomore; Eleanor Simmons, sophomore; Karen Sluss, junior; Connie Felton, junior; Shari Smith, sophomore; and Denise Plumlee, sophomore. Many of our silk and gun girls attended a week-long workshop in Frostburg. They worked hard, and they came back with the first place trophy — the first trophy to be placed in the school trophy case. All the girls on both squads worked hard during the summer to get ready for this year’s football games. 49
