An Evening to Remember Frankfort High School cele- brated its first homecoming Friday, November 5. Despite the snowy, freezing weather, the crowds turned out in heavy numbers to watch the two ri- vals, Keyser and Frankfort meet. During halftime activities Linda Hedrick was crowned Homecoming Queen. Her at- tendants were (bottom) Dawn Marker, escorted by Greg Wel- ker; Alanea Dick, escorted by Jeff Maiers; Mindy Linn, es- corted by Kevin Turley; and Tammy Houdersheldt, escorted by Tim Hamilton. The Queen was escorted by Dave Welker. William Milleson presented flowers to the Queen and her attendants.

Cheerleaders The Falcons were cheered to victory during football and basketball seasons by our eight dynamic varsity cheerleaders. The cheerleaders were se- lected in the spring by various members of the community. These enthusiastic girls prac- ticed long hours during the summer months to prepare for the games and pep rallies. 46 The first Falcon cheerleaders were (bottom to top) co-cap- tain Tammy Houdersheldt, senior, Chris Johnson, soph- omore, Terri Guthrie, junior, Tami Pyles, junior, Dawnetta Funkhouser, junior, Kathy Dayton, junior, and co-captain Tina Hill, junior. Tammy Houdersheldt (right) is the only senior on the cheerleading squad. She also served as co-captain and was squad leader during foot- ball season. ——— es
