Frankfort’s first Home- coming game with the Keyser Tornadoes started with the fans believing it would be an- other easy victory as the Fal- cons rolled down the field and Steve Fridley took it over from the one-yard line. Falcons Attempt Ninth Unfortunately, the Tor- nadoes totally devastated the Falcons by scoring a total of 39 points. The statistics showed, how- ever, that Frankfort outclassed Keyser: a 28-yard gallop by Donnie Wolford in the second | eM at Homecoming quarter, the final touchdown, a 2-yard run by Steve Fridley, and Paul Hardy’s conversion of three extra points making a total of 21 points. Even though the Falcons lost their chance at a berth in the state playoffs, they won the PVC championship. 43

An Evening to Remember Frankfort High School cele- brated its first homecoming Friday, November 5. Despite the snowy, freezing weather, the crowds turned out in heavy numbers to watch the two ri- vals, Keyser and Frankfort meet. During halftime activities Linda Hedrick was crowned Homecoming Queen. Her at- tendants were (bottom) Dawn Marker, escorted by Greg Wel- ker; Alanea Dick, escorted by Jeff Maiers; Mindy Linn, es- corted by Kevin Turley; and Tammy Houdersheldt, escorted by Tim Hamilton. The Queen was escorted by Dave Welker. William Milleson presented flowers to the Queen and her attendants.
