Falcons Roll in Opener! The fantastic Falcons opened the season with a 35-0 romp over Hed- gesville. To lead off the scoring, Alan Moreland ran 15 yards for the first F alcon touchdown. Leo Day and Donnie Wolford followed with 11 yard touchdown runs from scrim- mage. Keith Payne ran in a blocked punt from 6 yards out. Moreland finished up the scoring with a 6 yard run. Paul Hardy kicked 5 out of 5 extra points. Reathard More- land was presented with the game ball during halftime activities. 18

Miss Falcon 1 In May of 1976, twelve girls were selected by the athletes to raise money and compete for the title of Miss Falcon I. The girls worked all summer raising the combined sum of $2,100. The money was then given to the Frankfort High Booster Club to help meet the costs of athletic and band uniforms. Tammy Houdersheldt was crowned Miss Falcon I by Dr. Charles Coffman, principal, during the Fun Fair on August 28. Linda Hedrick (right) was first runner-up and Lisa Bartles (left) was second runner-up. Escorts were members of the Falcon foot- ball team.
