Seniors 29 My name is Jutta Kuhr. I'm 16 years old and I am an exchange student for West-Germany, Papenburg. Papenburg has a population of 30,000 people. The American school system is different between you and us. We have, for example, more subjects, go 6 days to school, no school sport teams, etc. What I really like here, is that every school has their own Football team, etc. and everybody, who is qualified can be active in it. I like the different clubs, too and I am in the Z-club. In Germany I was active in my church, in the school, different clubs, but always you must find the time to do all the things that was sometimes difficult. Troy, a freshman. I like very much the people of America and Frankfort. The high school is nice, I like my friends here. I don’t practice any sport here because the sport I like soccer, you don’t have here in high school. In Brazil,11 play soccer, kayaking, and I love motorcycles. I have a Cagiva. Ron and Sandy with Scott, Chase and Marc, their sons. I don’t like to compare Switzerland with the USA because I was used to the Swiss life and besides that, Switzerland is my nation. But I liked the states long before I got here. My opinion hasn't changed only it’s points. I like America especially the people, who are very friendly and kind. A part of this certainly is my family's and friends' fault because I will try to come back to this beautiful country. Jutta Martin

28 Seniors w Foreign |f!xcha e Students My name is Claes Ekstrom and I'm from Sweden. My American parents are Russ and Sue Kaspar. It's hard to conclude my impression of the United States because I've spent almost all of my time in Frankfort. I think Frankfort is a nice town, but it is a little bit small and there are not so many things for teenagers i to do. In Sweden I practice Tai-Mui, which is a form of Kung-Fu. I usually spend a lot of my summer vacation scuba diving. I also play the alto saxophone. Here I'm on the swimming team and I'll probably be on the track team. Right now, in Sweden, we have a so- Well, I’m seventeen years old, about six feet tall. I like to do friends, I like to talk but sometimes I'm a little bit shy. I come from Madrid, Spain. I’m staying with the Jaspers Bill and Marcia and one of their daughters, Jennifer. My country is smaller than here, a little bit hotter in winter. I’m having a great time here, knowing new people and making new friends. In Spain I did a lot of sports, but here athletes are better than in Spain. A few cialist democratic party ruling the country.
