FALL MUSICAL Dick Foster Mary Collins Amanda Ostler Eddie Cowles Trixie Julie Porter Den a Haney Legs Ruby Eric Adams Sarah Prosser Hilda Stephanie Wilson Millie Pam Brackett Mack Bahs Donald Harper .... The 1987 Fall Musical Give My Regards to Broadway, was performed by the Drama and Musical Departments of FSHS on October 20, 21, and 22. The cast of students brought George M. Cohan’s play to life. With a lot of hard practices the musical went together just as the plot did. This musical was a play within. The Director (C. Jones) was struggling to keep his theatre running, while new actors and actresses kept turning to him for a break. One actress, Mary Collins (A. Ostler) brought hope to this man s eyes as he fell in love with her. The director begged Mona Monroe (D. Burlash) to he a part of this particular play so she could pay for the expenses. Mona would not play the part because she wanted bigger crowds and a better theatre. The musical kept the audience laughing as Leggs, (E. Adams) an exmobster, found himself wrapped up in the excitement of the theatre. His girlfriend Trixie (J. Porter) hid him from Mack (R. Glover), a mob hit-man. There in the center of everything he decided to give the director the money to put on his play. A young girl (P. Brackett) is shown how rough life can be while visiting her cousin Betty (D. Haney) who was a chorus girl in the theatre. This combination of innocence, mystery, and determination brought smiles to the audience’s faces each night. 1) During tht play the chorus line practiced their routine. 2) Betty (D Haney) welcomed her cousin .Willie (P Brackett) to the theatre and to New York 3) As Gangsters. Roy Glover and Angie Stidham discuss the possible arrests of a few of their fellow gang members. 12 FALL MUSICAL
