Two years of math doesn't sound like fun but it is required here at Frankfort. At least there is a choice in what you can take, two years of algebra, or one year of high phase algebra and one year of geometry. For those who like a challenge or planning on going to college junior and senior math courses are also offers. In the teacher department of mathematics Mr. Page. Mr. Palmer. Mr. Moyer. Science requirements changed this year due to concerns of the State and Federal government regarding education in the U.S.A. State mandates now require that, starting with this year's freshmen, all students must have two years of laboratory science for graduation. They must take one year of the requirement in life science and one year in physical science. Students may choose from Biology. Advanced Biology. Chemistry. Advanced Chemistry. Physics. Earth Science, and Applied Earth Science. Instructors in the Science department are: Mr. Henninger, Earth Science. Mr. Rule and Mr. Davis. Biology. Ms Leisure. Chemistry, and Mr Palmer, Physics and Applied Science. Science

The Home Economics Department offers Advanced and Beginning. Clothing. Beginning Foods. Advanced Foods. Child Dev., Housing, and HERO Organizations. Mrs. Platt is the head of the department and head of HERO Club too. Teaching the other classes are Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Mosson. Their goal is to teach students about the outside world and to teach the students to solve problems and analyze ideas. They show you how to manage a home with all its responsibilities. Home Ec. 25
