The requirements for speech classes include imagination and loads of preparation. Many of this year's students participated in the debating match at Purdue. Drama also requires imagination as shown in this year's children's play, Go jump in the Lake. Many costumes were made in preparation for this. The play was a tremendous success. Children came running out with smiling and happy faces, hoping that someday maybe they too will have a chance to take part in such a production. But it would be a close contest as to who enjoyed it the most —the children in the audience, or the cast. 28-Speech-Drama

Charcoal sketches and the sketching of one another were a part of this years activities. Many outstanding art forms were on display all during the year.
