Drama Club The Drama Club was organized to stimulate interest in the study of dramatics and theatre arts. The members had one outing where several members went to Purdue to observe the Children’s Hour play. The club’s Vice-President is Nancy Kicker, and tin Secretary is Debbie Milner. As President, Sue Jane Fickle has done an excellent job. Mr. Henderson, who teaches speech and drama classes, is the club’s sponsor. Madrigal A happy, swinging group of sophomores, juniors, and seniors composed this year’s Madrigal Singers. The Madrigal rehearsed as an extracurricular activity twice a week and performed their style of music for the Christmas and Spring Concerts as well as Big Broadcast and earning a first place rating at State Music contest. Choir Miss Carol Ewart, choir director, presided over a busy season for the Frankfort Senior High Choir. The Christmas Season saw the choir entertaining at various social and religious functions about the city, climaxed with a Christinas convocation. January and February was contest time and tlie choir was well represented at district and state. March saw this group participating in Big Broadcast with numbers from “The Sound of Music”. A successful year was climaxed with participation in the Spring Music Festival and Graduation ceremonies.
