Membership in the National Honor Society is the highest academic honor possible for a high school student. On the diploma of each graduating senior is affixed the National Honor seal. This is the only emblem of recognition that may appear on a student’s diploma. Members are chosen on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Sponsor this year was Mr. McMurtrey. They were chosen by one election of the faculty rather than by two elections by the members. They were all required to have a B average.
