SENIOR CLASS PLAY CHARACTERS Stuart Randolph—A good-looking young husband... Richard Bcldcn—His brother-in-law.............. John Bcldcn -The genial uncle of Irene and Richard Irene Randolph—Wife of Stuart.................. Emily Ladew—Her friend.......................... Nora An elderly servant maid................. ........Herbert Baker ..........Harry Larick .........Robert Thomas Elizabeth June Campbell ..........Jean Weymer Roberta Campbell Place: Saratoga. All three acts lake place in the drawing-room oj the Randolphs during the racing season at the Spa. The senior class play, Her Husband's Wife was presented Friday, May 18. in Central auditorium. HER HUSBAND'S WIFE Irene Randolph, having no troubles to worry her, is forced to invent some. Apparently this is not difficult; she makes herself the victim of an imaginary illness and worries about what will happen to her husband. Stuart, after her death, which she tells her uncle, John Ficldcn, she feels will occur in a short time- Irene then chooses her friend, Emily Ladew, to be her husband's second wife, telling her that she is the only woman to whom she, Irene, would be willing to trust Stuart. Miss Ladew, insulted because Irene considers her unattractive enough to be trusted with Stuart, and because of an unexpected complication arising from the presence of Richard Bcldcn, Irene’s brother and her former fiancee, makes herself as attractive and as dangerous as possible. The situation soon goes beyond Irene’s control. The amazing complications which result arc more than amusing. Eventually a satisfactory conclusion is reached in which happiness comes to all and Irene is cured forever of her imaginary illnesses.
