6052461 f !2I'l'l'lQI'l BILLY DAWKINS Billy did a fine job whenever called upon. He had a very high average at the plate and was consistent in the field. TOMMY THOMPSON . A four year man who 1S hard to replace. Tommy, the hust- ler and veteran of the team, hit well and turned into an excellent base-runner CHARLIE CLARK A left-fielder who was really the go-get-'em type defensive outfielder. Charlie also turned in a fine performance in tour- ney play. TOMMY KNIGHT Tommy, an excellent glove man, came into his own this year with some fine hitting. He is one of the five graduating lettermen. CHARLES HILLARD A well-balanced catcher who also was one of the leading hitters on the '53 squad. We surely hate to see the big catcher go.
