His hard blocking and tackling will benefit future Panther teams. BILLY MARTIN - ...11.L Billy, seeing enough action in his first year to letter, showed improvement as the year pro- gressed. He should do well at any line post in which Coach Leathers wishes to place him. gootlaff eaffermen 1+ f JAY CULLEN Ja played hard whenever calrled upon. Always trying he will be a great asset to the next 2 Panther squads at his quarterback post. U 22 E jr-- JACK TOM PHIPPS Jack Tom, lettering his first year, could alwa s be depended upon for a lot of Eight. He should be a tough contender for a varsity post next year. JAMES BOLNER James, after three hard years of drudgery, won his first letter alternating between tackle and guard.

Although the small- est man on the starting team Jimmy proved invalu- able to the team. xi ll ALLEN PREWITT Big Al, playing defensive end and offensive center, was a source of inspiration to all. His sure snaps for punts and passes and his crack defensive work on the flanks will be greatly missed next year. Quince, lettering his first year showed plenty of spirit and hustle Pla ing offensive end and defensive hal back, he was equally ade t at both. Next year's team is u or tunate not to have this flankman back to anchor his end of the line HUGH GOINS Hugh a senior broke his arm in the third game of the year He did not return until the last game His loss was greatly felt by the F H S forward wall CLARK RAPIER Clark, one of the Panthers' most dependable replacements, lettered as a back last year and turned in some sterling performances this year in the line. u
