ounci fi... , SEATED: Clifford Smith, jo Ann Hale, Emily Ann Watson, Anna Lee CLIFFORD SMITH President provement of the school through the sponsoring of a variety of worthwhile student activities. The Student Council is composed of twelve students, one representing each homeroom, and one hold-over representative elected by the junior class ofthe previous year. The president and vice president are elected by the entire student body, the other officers are chosen by the council members. Mr. F. D. Wilkinson, principal, is the faculty advisor. This year the council went to the state convention at Fort Thomas and had the honor be elected president school for the coming year. Since Frankfort High School will be host to the state convention in 1954, the junior elected as hold-over representative for next 3 ' . . . fort High School has had for its primary objective the im- year's student council will go to the national convention this summer in St. Paul, Minnesota. ln addition to serving as the governing body of the high school, the student council each year also sponsors several projects. Several of the projects this year were the Sadie Haw- kins Day Dance, the magazine campaign, an intra-mural basketball tournament, a student talent show, and th.: planning of a student night.
