It seems that some of the elite are arriving from New York. There's JOAN RICHARDS, the noted dress designer, and with her is BETSY BROOKS, who is a Latin interpreter for the United Nations. They are coming from all over the country! Arriving from Florida is SAUNDRA YOUNT proprietor of Ebb Tide, famous Miami resort, and JANE SHAW, who was recently voted Miss Miami. Hear that noise outside? It's TOMMY THOMAS, the national hot rod champion, driving up in his favorite racer, Luscious Lois, With him are BILLY HAWKINS and JIMMY GINN, who are co-owners of the Hop Up Garage. There's MARY ANN MUNFORD, a wealthy socialite now residing in Boston. And from the other side of the world comes ANN LAUTHNER, who has given much of her time and talent entertaining the saltminers in Siberia. The stew- ardess on the plane on which she returned was ANGELA ADAMS. We never thought we would see the day when BOBBY WHALEN would be with the New York Yankees, but now that he is out of the Marines he is proving his worth to that team by selling programs in the stands. Of course, you have to start somewhere! After him come two prominent Frankfort businessmen. One of them is CUNKIE ROBERTS, who runs that fine men's apparel store, Cunkie's Clip Joint, where you lift what you want and get the bill later.
