A Time to Remember The long anticipated 1985-86 Homecoming was one of the highlights of a memorable year. The theme of the 69th Homecoming was appropriately “Cherish”. The gym was decorated in autumn colors by the Art Department under the direction of Mr. Tim Murphy. The activities began with the coronation on Wednesday, October 9. Jan Chapman was crowned this year’s Homecoming Queen. Brigett Davis and Cara Kerrone were runners-up. The new Homecoming Queen and her attendants were seranaded by the FCHS Swing Choir under the direction of Mr. David McHaney. The Choir sang “Sweetheart of Frankfort High”. Lynn Paulk and Steve Grzanich served as the Mistress and Master of Ceremonies. On Thursday, the traditional Chili Supper, Bonfire, Pep Rally, and the Snake Dance were held in preparation for Friday’s Homecoming Football Game with Marion.
