The graduating class of 1979 walked down the halls of FCHS for the last time. Matured by the four years spent in high school, the senior class was now ready to start a new life at college or in a profession. President, Jack Glover; Vice-President, Martha Tomlinson; Secretary, Susan Smith; and Treasurer, Terri Palmer led them through their last year in high school. Student Body President Mike Hopkins and Student Council President Chris Butta donated their services to the entire student body. The seniors of 1979 elected as their Homecoming queen, Pricilla McGhee. Crystal Herrell was named first runner-up and Sharon Wade, second runner-up. Among their many other activities, the seniors sold class shirts and had a senior banquet. Mr. Elmo Ricci and Mr. Steh were sponsors for the class of 1979.
