Goebel Patton Superintendent The Superintendent of Schools of Frankfort District =168. Mr. L. Goebel Patton, has worked to meet the many needs of the community for twenty-six years. As a leader, he guides and advises both school officials and students and aids the educational system in every possible way. The Board of Education, as representatives of the people, strive to improve the quality of education of the students in District 168. The Board serves as the link between the community and the schools. The president of the Board of Education is Mr. Roger Raubach. and Mr. Jim Bernhard is the secretary. 18

Mr. Gail Borton, F.C.H.S. Principal Mr. Gail Borton, F.C.H.S. principal for eight years, takes a vital interest in his community by participating in various community projects. Along with the capable staff of teachers, he meets the challenges of the day by developing better academic methods and techniques. Some of these challenges include classroom scheduling, assigning assembly seats, conducting faculty meetings, and enforcing discipline. Coping with common and crucial problems, directing all school personnel, and supervising all school functions are only a few roles his position involves.
