F.C.H.S. on the go! developing skills and talents in various fields Developing skills on the basketball court, the Kcdbirds desire to win was surpassed only by their desire to learn. Like all people, the students at FCHS have a large variety of interests and abilities, ranging from athletics to artistic. Through different electives offered in the curriculum, students may pursue and develop these interests. Included in the curriculum are two courses in what is considered to be the fine arts. These are the Chorus and Art classes. Industrial Arts or those which require a great deal of manual skill, provide another indispensable addition to the curriculum. Those who are sports minded will find an excellent program, intended to develop their particular talent, in our fine basketball, football, and track clubs. Students who play musical instruments enjoy participating in our excellent hand. Through the classes mentioned above and others such as photography and journalism, the FCHS student is able to develop his individual abilities. Chosen to sing at the Faculty Christmas Party, Carol Hays, Mary Ellen Hays, Susan Penrod, and accompanist, Jayma McKee, develop their talents through practice. Office workers gained valuable experience by helping faculty members and administrators with daily tasks.
