Bob was one of the l4,UO0 boys in the United States to pass the Navy College Aptitude Test, which makes him a student under the new NROTC plan. A singer, as well as an athlete, Bob was cast as the Mikado in the production of the Gilbert and Sulli- van liqht opera, Mikado, which was produced by the entire vocal music department under the direction of Mr. Franklyn Letvevre, with Miss Ioanna Webb as accompanist.
