B' Girls’ Track Coach Penny Pelzer led her girls to an almost perfect season, finishing with only one loss. They improved much from last year, breaking all but two of their old records. The girls also went on to capture the Thumb B and Regional Champion- ships. In winning the Regionals, they sent eight events to state. Cindy Holmes--shot put and discus, Terri Nagy—long jump and high jump, Rhonda Herzog—440, 880 relay, mile relay, and 440 relay. 440 tied for third and 880 relay took an eighth. MVP's for this year were Rhonda Herzog, Cindy Holmes, and Ruth List. Captains were Rhonda Herzog and Debbi Nagy. The team looks strong for next year, having been a very young team this year. A.
