Lynn Weineke, winner of first place in the talent show, lulls her audience with songs from the South Pacific. Giving his rendition of the latest hit songs, Greg Fisher is accompanied by Harlan Day on the drums and Jessie Melcher and Phil Marcy on the guitar. The group won second place. Karen Koehler, Wendy Waack, and Jane Fischer captured third place with their display of grace and poise in a free exercise routine. TALENT SHOW HAS VARIETY An excellent display ot talent was witnessed this year at the Student Council Talent Show. Acts ranged from hilarious comedy to serious music, and each was thoroughly enioyed by the student- taculty audience. The first, second, and third- place winners traveled to Vassar, Caro, and Cass City High Schools to perform in exchange talent shows sponsored by the Thumb B Student Coun- cil.

A good way to spend one's time is with clubwork, and Frankenmuth High School had two active clubs this year. The Y- Teens was a service organization affiliated with the Young Women's Christian As- sociation and was dedicated to helping others while providing enioyment for its members. PRUFITS The glint of excitement in children's eyes, balloons, frantic king and queen promoters, straw hats, tired parents, teddy bears, and cakes were all part of the 1967 Krazy Karnival. An an- nual event sponsored by the iunior class to raise money for the Junior- Senior Prom, the Karnival again proved to be a success as the class realized the highest profit in the his- tory of the activity.
