ANALYSIS. ARGUMENT, ABILITY As always, The varsity and iunior varsity debate Teams found that Their activity consisted primarily of time, effort, and ability. Under The direction of Francis Cheslik, The group studied processes of analysis, argument, presentation, and Thought communication. The members quickly realized Their need for prowess in research and competitive speaking as They went on To a fine season. Suddenly The library was caught up in another flurry of searching as a set of forensic students invaded it. Again guided by Mr. Cheslik, These speakers represented Their school well as They went on into district, regional, and state contests. Tom Duclos, Jim Frahm, George Frahm, Greg Mclnerney, and Wendy Wessborg were participants in The many-sided field of forensics. Junior varsity debaters included: standing: Coach Francis Cheslik, Karl Kasten, Ken Schmandt, Bob Reindel, and Dave Hoeraufp sitting, Nancy Adams and Steve Hill. Members of The varsity debate team left w Wendy Wessborg, Bill Rustem, John Eaton, Frahm, Debbie Walz, Paul Shippey, George Fra Kathy Geyer, and Becky Schutt.
