Social tudies Standing Left to Right are the social studies teachers, Charles Bartel, Thomas Thompson, Carl Nordstrom. In the social studies field are included: world history, geography, American history, government, and economics. In its second year of operation, the television program has grown to include two classes, American History and Government-Economics . Alfred Zink, right, a 36 year veteran ofteach- ing is in charge of the telecasts. Melvin Riess and Jack Lindow listen intensively as Mr, Bartel lectures in world history, The globe is the center of at- traction as Richard Krueger, William Roedel, and Edwin Knoll explore the Country about which they are studying in their geog- raphy class.
