Sponsored by the Michigan Council of Churches, Barbara Scherzberg and Peter Henseler arrived on August 7, 1959. Barbara, during her stay in Michigan, was a member of the Robert Kiine household, rural м Frankenmuth, Peter lived at the Arthur Leach home in Bridgeport. ES It was a busy year for the two visiting students, due to the many extracurricular activities in which they participated, | On July 13, 1960,they sailed for their homes, | Barbara to Iserlohn, Westphalia, while Peter | lives at Burscheid near Cologne.
