To You, Mr. Fowler Your students make good cookies. Miss McCobb.'' The everbusy administrators of Bunnell High School. The students and faculty are honored and privileged in having Mr. Donald W. Fowler as the first principal of Frank Scott Bunnell High School. During the past five years Mr. Fowler has spent countless hours meeting with various groups to discuss and coordinate the plans for the new high school. Today, with Frank Scott Bunnell High School completed and operating efficiently, Mr. Fowler ought to feel a sense of deep satisfaction and great achievement that his plans and hopes for the new high school have become a realiza- tion. Thousands will benefit in future years be- cause of his good judgment and foresight. Since he has dedicated so much of himself to the stu- dents, they hereby dedicate this first edition of the Laurel to Mr. Donald W. Fowler, first princi- pal of Frank Scott Bunnell High School.

To guide the student in his work; to plan his curriculum and to mold his character; to outline the plans of school life and to lead in accomplishing these plans — these are the reasons for ad- ministration. To train the mind broadly; to pursue truth relentlessly; to create self-discipline completely; to develop the individual fully — these are the aims of administration. To achieve honor; to achieve purpose; to achieve direction; to achieve completeness — these are the hopes of the administra- tion for the class of 1961.
