COOKING N A MODER Learning a modern language at FPC includes more than speaking and writing it. Students learn to prepare popular I 1 foods served in French and Spanish speaking countries. After studying recipes, they meet and prepare a meal that , combines their effort. These gourmet foods provide as much fun as the grammatical errors that they make in the language they speak while eating. Mrs. Elizabeth DeKoster, sponsor, speaks and cooks in . several languages. J , , H 1 as ' Q Madame Mary Honaker likes to cook in French as well as speak it. She excels in pastries. If she speaks and writes French as well as she bakes, she must be a good student.
