COUNCIL Organizations on the Frank Phillips College Campus provide many opportunities for students to develop initiative and lead- ership. Experience of participating in a group of common in- terest is rewarding and makes years spent at FPC even more enjoyable. All students are offered many opportunities in interesting groups including amusernents, societies, student publications, sci- ence clubs, art, music and speech activities. The Student Governing Association is composed of all stu- dents enrolled in Frank Phillips College. Officers include a president and vice-president elected by the student body. These two, along with a secretary-treasurer and the representatives from various organizations and classes form the Student Coun- cil. The Student .Council is the working body of the S.G.A. The duty of the Student Council is to coordinate the S.G.A. and the administration. It also approves and coordinates the activities of the students and organizations. The Student Council promotes school spirit and strives to develop school and corn- munity relationships. Sponsor: Mr. T. T.
