JIM-ar 1-ff W-f .ees Maribeth Hyatt and Rita Gail Hunter helped Roger Davis hang the pinata from the ceiling. The pinata, made in Mexico, was stuffed with wrapped candies and nuts. Blind- folded students struck at the paper mache strawberry with a long pole, until the pinata broke, scattering the goodies. Mrs. Gerde Dietz Honaker, Parnpa, a native of Frankfort, Germany, was guest speaker. She told the students of her homeland, re- vealing interesting facts about customs there. . We rn x s 31'-1'-. LANGUAGE DINNER For other after-dinner entertainment, the club members enjoyed breaking a strawberry-shaped pinata, brought from San Antonio by Mrs. Eliz- abeth DeKoster, club sponsor and teacher of French and Spanish at Frank Phillips College. For the dinner, Mrs. DeKoster prepared mole poblano and arroz a la Mexicana. Students made French foods, including salade verte, pain grille au beurre, and cafe au lait. Also served were George Washington cherry pie and Texas iced tea. Una fiesta buena, niest pas?
