Our journey along Panther Pathways would have been impossible without the help we received from these people. Willy, the mascot for our school and our yearbook, has long been a symbol for the Panther spirit of Willis High, so we chose him for our leader this year. Ramey GAZETTE EDITORIAL BOARD The 1957-58 editorial board of the Delaware Gazette's High School Page was com- posed of students from Miss Dorothy Whitted and Mrs. H. C. Reed's Senior English class. Led by co-editors Mary Judy Teele and David Landsittel, the group assigned and edited the articles Written by the Senior English class. This work gives the students an opportunity to practice what they have learned about journalism. In March, Mrs. Jack Bargeris junior English class began working on the High School Page in preparation for next year. Both juniors and seniors were advised by Mrs. Reed. QUILL AND SCROLL The Quill and Scroll Club, a national journalism honorary, were reactivated at Willis High School last spring. Seniors David Landsittel and Hal Wyss were the only members in the club this year. Qualifications for election to the club are based upon work done for the Gazette High School Page and assistance given to the Delhi activities. Wyss and Land- sittel have been active throughout their high school careers as members of these journalistic organizations. The boys were greatly assisted with their club activities by Miss Olatha Benson, Quill and. Scroll advisor. H. Wyss, Miss Benson, D. Landsittel 59
