The W-Teens pro- gram was divided info fhree differenf parfs. The firsf of ihese was service fo fhe school and communify. One of fhe mosf popular services 'ro fhe school was fhe W-Teens bullefin board. Arranged by Donagene Ferguson, fhe cheerful and original board drew many favorable commenfs. Ofher school services of fhe club were fhe losf and found deparfmenf and fhe W-Teens pep club, a fine addifion fo school spirii af foofball games. The club's communify proiecfs included dis- fribufing Thanksgiving food baslcefs fo fhe pooir and helping in fhe cify recreafion program. The second pari of fhe W-Teens program was so- cial. The high poinf of fheir social year was fhe fall formal, Snowflake Fanfasy, held on December 81 An- ofher of fheir dances was a semi-formal which was sponsored in The spring. The club also sponsored a poor man's dance charging cans of food for The needy as admission. This program of dances was headed by social chairman, Linda Jo-hnson. The club's fhird main area of operafion was an infer-class sporfs program for The girls. Included under This program were baslcefball, bowling, volleyball, fennis, golf, and baseball. All of fhese sporfs were di- recf compefifion befween fhe classes wifh fhe excep- fion of bowling and 'rennis in which feams were piclcecl disregarding class membership. This sporf cornpefifion was held affer school under fhe supervision of Barbara Culver. chairman of fhe sporfs commiffee.
