The radio club has been busy studying code. Many members have been working toward their amateur license. The club studied the parts of the radio. Some ot the members have their own home stations. Any student is eligible to become a member by paying the registration fee and the monthly dues and passing the initiation. The meetings were held bi-monthly. Thepresident was Jim Powers.

The Popular Music Club had as its purpose the enioyment of all types of music. When the club met, the pupils either participated or ioined in singing popular songs, folk songs, and hillbilly songs. The Major-Minor Club, a member of the National Music Society, held its meetings once a month. The officers were Kay Evans, president, Mary Judy Teele, vice-president, Ann Johnson, secretary, Shirley Stiles, treasurer. At the beginning of the year the officers got together and planned the program for each month. Each month different members of the club participated in the program by singing, playing the piano, or playing musical instruments. A program, which included everyone in the club, was presented to the senior high in May.

McMillen, R. Logue. In November members attended the V.l.C. convention in Columbus. The V.l.C. float won first place in the Homecoming parade. The biggest event of the year took place in December when six boys went to Detroit. While they were there they stayed in the dormitory at Greenfield Village. During the trip they went through the Ford Museum, the Ford Plant, the new Plymouth engine plant. The boys were guests of the Ford Plant for a turkey dinner. This trip was financed by the boys' sales of Christmas and All Occasion cards. ' The V.l.C. sent delegates to the state capital, for a government day in February. Another big event was the annual Employer and Employee Steak dinner which was held on March 8th. Approximately fifty employers and their wives and employees attended this dinner. The Vocational Industrial Club had a good year under the leadership of Mr. Dale Bowman.
