booth, stage crews-student natrol Vvfhat would we do without the booth crew? They make it possible for us to have noon and after school movies. Their job isn't easy. Besides running the machines they have to check the films before showing them and do any necessary splicing. This crew has been trained to run the sixteen mm. movie machine and is very capable of handling our big machine. Mr. Graham is the booth crew sponsor. Work' ing with him are Larry Ross, john Melvin, Jim Shoaf, and Bob Vogt. manager. Have you ever wondered who the fellows are that do so much of the work behind the scenes of a big production here at Willis: work like pulling the curtains. working the lights, and keeping the stage in good condition? These boys are Willis' stage crew and they work very hard to keep the stage and stage equipment in good running order! Besides working on the stage during the school hours when they have free periods, the student patrol: lst row: Mr. Johnson, E. Harter, D. Eishen, jeisel. R. Heinlen, C. Moodespaugh, T. Hearn. 'lndrowz D. Howard, VJ. Lockwood, Speecc, G. Spcece. H. Maschmann. J. Pettit. P. Williams. left side - booth crew Top: Shoaf, L. Ross, B. Vogt, Melvin. Bottom: J. Shoaf, L. Ross, B. Vogt, J. Melvin. right side - stage crew Top: D. Green, Swope, T. Graham, D. Eishen. Bottom: D. Eishen, Swope, D. Green, T. Graham fellows spend many hours after school has been dismissed, fixing up the stage. Mr. Lott, who teaches wood shop here at Wil' lis, is the supervisor of the group. The crew is composed of Dave Green, Tom Graham, jerry Swope, and Dale Eishen, manager. Have you ever been thankful that those boys with the stop flags were on duty? I'll bet lots of us wouldn't have seen that car or bicycle, or maybe we were driving and didn't see the pedes- trian. The student patrol members are on duty at each intersection near the school at noons and after school. And they are there, rain or shine. If it rains, they are there in bright yellow rain' coats and hood. What if it snows? you ask. Well, it snowed this last winter and they were on the job as usual. Mr. Johnson reports that the boys have done a fine job of promoting safety. Mr. Will McElfresh, of MCELFRESH AND SON, Coal and Building Supplies, is again spon- soring this page in the Delhi. The yearbook staff appreciates his continued co-operation. Page 52
